On February 10, 2025, the world lost a beloved soul, Laura Watts, who passed away at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, South Carolina. She was born on June 3, 1941, to her parents Henry Bennett and Bernice Williams Cling.

Laura is survived by her loving daughter, Sheila Myers, sisters Mary Ann Solomon (Ed), Jeanette Parker, Minnie Fanning (Harry), and Deborah C. Watts (Jack) brothers Ricky Smith (Frances), Wesley Cling (Mrytle) and Larry Kinard and three adoring grandchildren.

Laura had a passion for sewing and spent countless hours creating beautiful pieces that brought joy to those around her. Her kind and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Despite facing challenges in her life, Laura remained strong and resilient. Unfortunately, she lost the battle to cancer, but her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

May Laura Watts rest in peace, knowing that she was cherished and loved by many. She will forever be in our hearts.
