"Uncle" Larry Henry,74, born on October 13, 1950, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to John and Alberta Henry passed away on July 26, 2025, leaving behind his four children, Larry Jr, Richard, Brittany, and Jason (Brandi) Guinther and his siblings. He also had many grandchildren whom he loved and many friends and family.
Larry was a proud graduate of Battle Creek High School and spent his professional years working as a Mechanic before and enjoying and living life. He also proudly served in the Army as a Spec 5 in the 1st Airborne Unit in Vietnam for four years. He received many Medals of Honor, including a purple heart.
Aside from his dedication to his family and country, Larry had a passion for working on cars and motorcycles. He could always be found tinkering away in his garage, whether it was a hot rod or the family van, Larry was happy to help. Larry was a blunt man but kind hearted. He'd give you the shirt off his back and tell you "he loves you for who you are".
While Larry may no longer be here to share a laugh with us, (or a cocktail) his memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. Rest easy Uncle Larry. Keep Raisin' Hell. Till we meet again.
You can to the family or in memory of Larry Henry .
