Larry drove a semi tractor and trailer most of his adult life until he retired in 2016 and enjoyed fishing and woodworking in his spare time.

Larry was born on December 25, 1941 to Glenn Dewees and Meda Fawn Thompson Dewees in Greenleaf, Kansas.

Larry married Vivian Dewees and later they divorced and then married Bonnie M Dewees in 1992 and remained married until time of death.

Larry had one surviving sister, Dorothy Moore, in California.

Surviving are his children, Tamara Dewees, Stacy Dewees, Mark (Tammy) Dewees, Rick (Lisa) Dewees.

One step-daughter, Patricia (Jeff) Royer.

Preceding him in death were his brother, Laverne Dewees, his sister, Alice Goodman and his grandson, Gabriel Royer.
