Larry E. DeFoy, 70, of Erie, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Saint Vincent Health Center. He was born on June 18, 1946 in Erie, a son of the late James and Doris Bowser DeFoy. Larry enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his partner. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James DeFoy, James Hammerman, and Ron Smith; sisters, Sharon Furhman and Floretta DeFoy; and best buddy, Mickey. He is survived by his partner, Nancy Watkins; brothers, Gary DeFoy and wife Genny, Robert DeFoy and wife Dorothy, and Rodney Smith and wife Jody; and sisters, Brenda Payne, Florence Greulich, Lynn Colburn, and Sandy DeFoy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at the family's convenience. The John R.
