It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry McCain on January 5, 2025, in Springfield, Illinois, United States. He was born on May 8, 1941, to Leo and Ruth McCain.

Larry is survived by his loving children, Sheila Jones (Wallace Jones) and James McCain (Sharon McCain), as well as his three cherished grandchildren. He worked at Ford and enjoyed a long and fulfilling career before retiring in 2008.

Larry had a passion for fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. He found joy in the great outdoors and spent many hours exploring nature. His adventurous spirit and love for the open road were evident to all who knew him.

On January 5, 2025, Larry McCain passed away from a sudden heart attack. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
