Larry "Turk" Norman was born to the late Ruby Reese and I.W. Norman January 25,1954 in Independence, Louisiana. He was introduced to Christ at an early age while attending his parran's church in his front yard.

Larry served in the United States Army after high school where he was active duty for 4 years and then became an active member of the National Guard from 1976-1989. Larry worked at Hammond Developmental Center as a supervisor until he retired.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory one sister Caroline Norman one sister-in-law Diane Norman Arlington Texas , three brothers Michael Norman(Lisa) Slidell Louisiana Lonnie Williams Baltimore Maryland, Michael Thomas(Lavern) Houston Texas 2 step kids Lamont Lewis and Tracey Williams(Anthony) of Ponchatoula,La. and a host of nieces nephews, relatives and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Ruby Reese and I.W. Norman 2 brothers Gerald Norman Raphus Davis 2 nephews Honathan Norman Jovan Griffin 1 niece Yolonda Adams and 1 sister Dorothy Norman
