It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kyla Brown, who left this world far too soon on January 1, 2026. She was born on March 20, 2000 in Kansas City, Missouri to proud parents H. Hvelin Scales and Fatosha Brown.

Kyla was known for her infectious laughter and warm smile. She brought joy to everyone around her, especially her beloved Sisters Elexis Gardner and Tamara Brown. Despite not having any children of her own, she had a special place in her heart for her family and friends.

One of Kyla's greatest passions in life was playing basketball. Whether she was shooting hoops with friends or cheering on her favorite team, you could always find her on the court. Her love for the game brought her endless happiness and fulfillment.

Although Kyla's time with us was tragically cut short due to an accident, we take solace in knowing that she lived a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
