Kristopher Lee Haindel Charlotte Formerly of Eaton Rapids, MI passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the age of 33.  Kris was born on January 27, 1983 in Eaton Rapids the son of Gene Haindel and Patty (Larkins) Haindel.  Kris was a graduate of Eaton Rapids High School class of 2001.  He went to work for the Mackenzie Group in Grand Ledge right out of school where he was currently employed.  Kris was an avid hunter, fisherman and runner.  He also enjoyed bowling and coaching his son's basketball and baseball teams.  Kris was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell Haindel, Germaine Haindel, Cletus Strickling; uncle, Mike Larkins and aunt, Mary Haindel.Surviving are his wife of 8 years Shawn (Vanderhoff) Haindel; son, Cody Cooper Haindel; parents, Gene (Lora Elliott) Haindel, Patty Haindel; brother, Ryan Haindel; grandparents, Loraine (Pete Hills) Larkins, Harold (Darlene) Haindel and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Eaton Rapids with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends at Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids Chapel on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Heroes Hunting Camp in memory of Kris.  For online condolences please visit www.SkinnerFuneralHomes.com
