Niland, Kristen M. MECHANICVILLE Kristen M. Niland, 41, passed away suddenly on January 22, 2017. The daughter of Thomas J. and Tina M. Niland, she was born on April 1, 1975, in Troy. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1993, and from Hudson Valley Community College in 1995. Kristen was a loving mother to her three children, Kasey M. Wagoner, Austin H. Wagoner and Isabella Ava-Blu Welch; she was the loving partner of Rick Welch. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Justin M. (Kara) Niland; her sister, Danielle A. (Michael) Shanahan; her grandchildren, Colton J. Wagoner and Paisley H. Wagoner; her paternal grandfather, James H. Niland; her maternal grandmother, Betty A. Golden; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kristen's family wishes to express their gratitude to all who have reached out to them during this difficult time. At the request of the family, services will be private.
