KONA BULAWAYO, 53, of 2818 E 21st, Odessa, TX 79761, passed on August 08, 2021. On December 31, 1967, KONA was born in Chingola, Zambia, at Clinic # 1 Mine Hospital.
He went to school at :
- Chingola Primary school, Chingola, Zambia in 1973-1979
- Kitwe Boys Secondary School, Kitwe, Zambia in 1980-1981
- Hillcrest Technical School, Livingstone, Zambia in 1982-1984
His interest in commerce and the auto industry led him to start his own business. He further pursued tertiary studies in Auto Mechanics here in the US. He ended up being a Chrysler Certified Technician and an Entrepreneur.
He was married and divorced from Sipiwe Dube Bulawayo. He is survived by seven ( 7 ) children, namely in chronological order:

his mother Mary Mbang'engo Chiyuka , brothers , sisters and ten (10) grandchildren.
Kona was ambitious, friendly, and enjoyed traveling. He was liked by many everywhere he resided. He lived in Zambia, the UK, and the US.
He was diagnosed with Lymphoma in 2018. Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system, which is part of the body's microbe-fighting network. He fearlessly fought the disease and won that battle a year later. Unfortunately, the Lymphoma returned at the beginning of 2021, but Kona never lost his courage, faith, and will to believe and fight.
The new exacerbation of the cancer was very aggressive and quickly overwhelmed his lymphatic system, including liver, kidneys, and bone marrow. On August 08, 2021, at 08:30 am, Kona Bulawayo took his last breath and transitioned away from life on earth.
