It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kiara Lanz, who was born on June 12, 2000, in Chicago, Illinois.

Kiara tragically left this world on January 1, 2026, leaving behind her loving family. She was the beloved daughter of William and Linda Lanz and the devoted mother of Taje, Kyle, and Legend Lanz.

Kiara attended CICS Ralph Ellison High School, where she graduated in 2019. She went on to further her education at Moraine Valley Community College, graduating in 2027.

Kiara dedicated her career to nursing, where she tirelessly worked to help and care for others. Her passion for helping people shone through in everything she did.

Outside of her work, Kiara had a variety of hobbies but always found joy in lending a helping hand to those in need. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to making a difference in the world.

Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
