Kevin Cartmill, 72, of Largo, Florida, passed on April 12, 2023 at home after a long illness. Kevin was born on June 25, 1950 in Lorain, Ohio to Charles C Cartmill and Josephine L Cartmill (Volak). Kevin attended Lorain City Schools and graduated feom Admiral King High School on June 10 1969. Kevin then went into the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1972 after his tour in the Vietnam War. Once back from the Army Kevin went on to Electronic Technology Institute in Cleveland Ohio and graduated in 1975. Kevin worked for Ford Motor Company and before moving to Florida he worked as a bails bond man for years with J.C. Bail Bonds. Once in Florida he worked for ExxonMobil gas then he worked for The University of South Florida (USF) where he retired Feb 28 2020.

Kevin loved his family and his dog Baby Girl. He enjoyed fishing, sailing and watching major league sports. Surviving is his daughter Desiree' (Michael) Mole, his step son Kevin Grace, sisters Karen and Kayna (Larry), nephew Brad Cartmill, nieces Debbie, Julie and Amy. Grandchildren Taylor, Heath, Mason and Michael. Kevin was proceeded in death by his parents Charles C and Josephine (Volak) Cartmill, his twin brother Keith W. Cartmill, Maternal and Paternal grandparents and his nephew Christopher Hammonds. There will be no funeral services. A military memorial service will be held at a later date in Lorain, Ohio
