Kenneth V. "Kenny" Smith, 56, a resident of Kenner, LA, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Kenny was born on Camp Lejeune in North Carolina on October 17, 1961 to James Voyle Smith and Leoline Zeller Smith. Kenny was a man of unparalleled energy and positive attitude. He was a shining light to all who came in contact with him. He was an avid outdoors man loving to hunt and fish. He appreciated his time in Venice making memories with friends and family snapper fishing next to the oil rigs. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast enjoying trips with the Sunday Riders on his Street Glide. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna M. Smith. Left to cherish his precious memory are his parents, Smitty and Lee Smith; sister, Jamie S. Root and husband Bobby; and sister-in-law, Michele Moynihan. Loving father of Kerry Joseph, Ashley Elizabeth, and Wesley Mathew; fiancée, Deborah Latino; uncle to RJ, Amanda, and Leah; great uncle to Whalen; his beloved dogs, Bailey and Nola; as well as many other family and loved ones. Services will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1908 Short St., Kenner, La 70062 with visitation beginning at 11:00am and a Funeral Mass at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.
