FOURMAN, Kenneth C. 93, of Springfield, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 after a brief illness and a 19-year battle from a massive stroke. He was born on June 18, 1923, in Darke County, Ohio, the son of the late Hiram and Maude (Applegate) Fourman. On July 19, 1944, he married the love of his life, Kathleen "Kay" (Adams) and from this union they were blessed with three children, Susan (Jack) Draper, Steve (Vicki) Fourman and Scott (Pennie) Fourman. He was further blessed with five grandchildren, Kevin Draper, Kelly (Shawn) Gray, Todd (Christie) Fourman, Randy (Amanda) Fourman and Jeffrey (Alexis) Fourman and 13 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Katelyn, Mikhayla, Amy, Colten, Brandon, Owen, Addisyn, Landon, Ellie, Kameron, Luke and Abbey. Kenneth is also survived by his sister, Eva Weitbrecht; brother-in-law, John Studabaker; special nephew, David Miller of Troy; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, He is preceded in death by his brothers, Faron, David and Ernie Fourman; and sister, Catherine Studabaker. Kenneth retired from Fuller Brush Company after 40 years as a branch manager. He was an avid fisherman, loved boating and travelling and especially enjoyed his winter home in Lake Placid, Florida for many years. Kenneth was also a member of the Northridge United Methodist Church where he leaves behind many friends. He was loved more than words can say and his legacy will continue to live on through his family. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11a.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER with a viewing one hour prior to service. Rev. Ken Woode officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
