He was born on Dec. 29, 1931, to Maurice and Helen (Dillavou) Nelson in Buchanan. Kenneth retired from Clark Equipment Co.Kenneth is survived by his children, Connie (Tim) Slavens of Three Oaks, Steven Nelson of Elkhart, Debra (Jim Flinchum) Andrysiak of New Carlisle, Kenny Nelson of Ohio, Cindy Payne of Buchanan, Brian (Peggy) Nelson of Niles, Alicia Nelson of Niles; children's mother, Mary Alice Nelson; siblings, Morry (Pat) Nelson, Joanne “Pandy” Fuller, Beth Winn, Audrey Nelson, Ian Nelson, Joyce Nelson; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Helen; wife, Helen Nelson; companion, Mo Nelson; brothers, Cloyse, Myron, James, Miles, Melvin; and sisters, Ila, Vickie, and Elaine.Cremation has taken place.
