Kenly Grady Stoneman Jr., 81, better known as K.G. Stoneman, of Woodlawn, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 13, 1935, in Carroll County, to Kenly Grady and Euna Lee Ryder Stoneman. Survivors include his wife, Parthenia Smith Stoneman of Woodlawn; half-sisters, Peggy Burcham and Paula Burcham, both of Galax; half-brother and spouse, Jerry and Dorothy Stoneman of Galax; and several cousins and friends. A funeral service was held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Woodlawn United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dina Clower and the Rev. Gloria Lancaster Rhudy officiating. Burial followed in the Woodlawn Cemetery with military rites by the Hillsville VFW Post 1115. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Woodlawn United Methodist Church, P.O.
