Kay R. WingroveASHLAND: Kay Ruth Fraunfelter Wingrove, 73, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 in OhioHealth MedCentral Hospital.She was born on August 9, 1943 in Ashland to the late Paul and Ruth (nee Gilbert) Fraunfelter.Kay worked for many years at Walhonding Hills where she was the Camp Ground Manager.In addition to camping, Kay enjoyed crafts, reading, and watching movies. She was past member of the Amvets and the Eagles Aerie 2178.Kay is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly (Eric) Davidson of Centerburg and Lori (Billie) Graham of Mount Vernon; one son, Mark (Robin) Wingrove of Shiloh; a special niece, Penny Doerrer of Shelby; a special friend, Harvey Zahniser of Ashland; grandchildren, Tyler and Kelsey Davis and Austin and Jamison Little; numerous additional grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Ann (Dave) White of Ashland; one brother, John (Patricia) Fraunfelter of Denver, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Kay is preceded in death by her one sister, Donna Thomas; and one brother, Bill Fraunfelter.Funeral services will be held, Friday, May 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Nate Bebout and Reverend Eric Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805.For those who may not be able to attend, online condolences may be shared on the funeral home's website at denbowfh.com.
