Kay Bills-Hayes, 54, of Stephenville, died Monday, March 6, 2017, in Stephenville. Funeral service: 2 p.m. Thursday, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Kay was born on Dec. 27, 1962, in Stephenville to the late C. L. "Buddy" and Judy Fern Glover Bills. She married Wayne L. Hayes on Jan. 17, 2004, in Stephenville. Kay was a 4th generation florist, owning Stephenville Floral Company. She began at the age of 12 working for her grandfather, Sterling Bills, and father, Buddy Bills, and until a few weeks ago, still was active in the management of Stephenville Floral. Kay was a member of the Baptist faith, and a lifelong resident of Stephenville. Survivors: Survivors include her husband, Wayne; son, Cody and wife,Meagan Voorhies of Azle; daughter, Brooke and husband, Rusty Schmidt of Grandview; brother, Toby and wife, Pam Bills of Comanche; mother, Virginia Bills of Stephenville; grandchildren, Tyler, Tristin, Jacob, Kaylee, Madison, Lizzi, Madilynn, Claire, and Annabelle; step-children, Amy Hayes of Stephenville, and Jimmy and wife, Kristan Hayes of San Antonio.
