It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Katlyn Stanley, who was born on June 23, 1998, in Yadkin, North Carolina, United States. Katlyn tragically left this world on November 6, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of Gregory Paul Stanley and Karen Stokes Stanley.
Katlyn was a dedicated student, working towards her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She was passionate about helping others and dedicated her time to donating to the Appalachia region.
Despite her young age, Katlyn's life was cut short due to a senseless act of discrimination. She lost her rights as an American and was executed for her sexual orientation.
Katlyn leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and bravery. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
