Kathleen Factor, 72, of Wewoka, Oklahoma, United States, passed Sunday, September 04, 2016 in Wewoka. Kathleen was born on August 20, 1944, in upstate New York.  Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband, David, of the home, her bird-son Johti, of the home, four children, Jamie Bell (Kelvin) of Texas, Jim Lashway of Colorado, Lorie Lashway-Grant (Anthony) of Oklahoma, and Sherry Harrison (Jay) of Oklahoma, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, and many nephews.   

Kathleen's passions were her husband, David, raising exotic birds and Nascar.  She was known as "the Bird Lady" and could talk for hours about her birds.  Kathleen was a spunky lady who wasn't afraid to speak her mind.  Of her many accomplishments, she was most proud of getting her GED at the age of 46. 

She is greatly missed by her family and many friends. No services are scheduled at this time; her children plan to have a memorial service in Warrensburg, NY at a later date.  As an example of her love for learning, her body was donated to research.
