We are gathered here today to bid farewell to Katherine Thompson, who left this world on March 4, 2025. She was born on January 17, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, and spent her life making people laugh and smile.

Katherine was known for her quick wit and infectious sense of humor. She could always find the humor in any situation, no matter how bleak it may have seemed. Her jokes and laughter were a light in the lives of all who knew her.

She leaves behind her two children, Annabelle and Andrew, who inherited her love for laughter and mischief. Katherine was a devoted mother who never took herself too seriously. She passed on her sense of humor to her children, who will carry on her legacy of laughter.

In addition to her children, Katherine is survived by six grandchildren, who will always remember her as the fun-loving grandma who could turn even the most mundane moments into a comedy routine.

Though Katherine may be gone, her spirit lives on in the memories of those who were lucky enough to know her. We will miss her infectious laughter and unwavering optimism, but we take comfort in knowing that she is now cracking jokes in the great beyond.

Rest in peace, Katherine. You may be gone, but your laughter will echo in our hearts forever.
