Katherine Mary BlanchardBrunswick, GAKatherine Mary Blanchard, age 101, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away on Monday at Hospice of the Golden Isles.Katherine was born on January 10, 1916 in Poughkeepsie, New York to her parents Willis Joseph and Mary Rose Hoover. She was married to the late John Wallace Blanchard and was a homemaker. Katherine was a 50 year member of St. Helens Church in Vero Beach, FL. She was a very giving person who did a lot for her family and church.In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Rose Coons; her brother, William Kelly; and her nephew, Carl Ladensack.Katherine is survived by her nephews, Willis Joseph (Helen) Landensack of Brunswick, GA; Otto (Stella) Ladensack of Poughkeepsie, NY; and William Kelly of Tampa, FL; and her nieces, Rosemary (Roger) Rifenburge of Germantown, NY; Karen Barrone of Wappingers Falls, NY; and Joan Kelly of Raleigh, NC.A private service will be held at a later date in Vero Beach, FL.Arrangements are entrusted with Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
