GASTONIA - Katherine Davis Flowers, 77, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation, Gastonia.She was born on Oct. 27, 1939, in Pender County to the late Thurman and Ruby Williams Davis.Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband of 55 years, Blanchard Earl Flowers, Sr.; sons, Earl Flowers, Jr. of Dallas, NC, Ronnie, and Paul Flowers of Cramerton, daughters, Lorri Swanson and son-in-law Marvin of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Amanda Flowers, Nikki Parker; great-grandchildren, Bentley and Ayalah Ekard, and Paisleigh Spivey.Katherine was a member of Ridge Baptist Church.A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia with the Rev.
