It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kassandra Whitsmith, who passed away on July 9, 2024, in her home in Portland, Tennessee. She was born on April 2, 1972, to Joseph and Elsie Lowry.

Kassandra was a devoted wife to Richard Whitsmith, whom she married in 1993. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Ian Arndell (spouse Lillie Arndell), Julia Faculty (spouse Davis Faculty), and Tina Joines (spouse Reese Joines). She was also a loving grandmother to two grandchildren.

Kassandra attended Portland East High School and graduated in 1989. She had a passion for gardening and tending to her family's needs, as well as taking care of her animals.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
