This obituary is administered by:

In loving memory

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jung Ja (June/Anna) Pelletier, age 84, of Browns Mills, NJ on 17 July 2024. She passed away peacefully at home. Born in South Korea, she was the eldest of five children. She met her husband Leonel Pelletier, Jr when he was serving his tour in Korea. They were married in 1958 and raised four children.

She came over to the US with her family for a better life. June or Anna as her friends called her, was active with St. Ann’s Church in Browns Mills with the Alter Rosary group as well as with the Korea Society and the Senior Center. She loved to travel, playing at the casinos, crocheting, and was an avid gardener. She will be remembered for her smile and her teachings in the kitchen with her children.

Jung is survived by her four children: Leo (Sara) Pelletier III, Nancy (Richard) Smith, Laurie Pelletier and Jeanette Pelletier; seven grandchildren: James (Sara) Dickinson, Nicholas Dickinson, Sydney Smith, Anastashia Pelletier, Alex Pelletier, Jennifer (Robert) Milane, and Vicki (Kevin) Lambes; two great grandchildren: Madelyn and Silas Lambes; and three siblings: Jung Su Yang, Myung Su Yang, and Kim Song. She was welcomed with open arms by her husband Leo and her brother Pan Su Yang and her parents. She is being cremated and interred with her husband at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. No services will take place but we do appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.

You can to the family or in memory of Jung Pelletier.
