Colvin, of 23 Sunset Drive, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017.Mrs. Colvin was born on March 17, 1927 in Augusta County, Virginia, a daughter of the late James Albert and Louise (Kirkpatrick) Grogg.Mrs. Colvin was a member of the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren, she was a homemaker, enjoyed quilting, reading, and collecting tea cups and "Ty" Beanie Babies. Mrs. Colvin was spoken by her family as a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be sorely missed.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Colvin was preceded in death by a brother, James Robert Grogg and a sister, Jane Ellen Martin Bosserman.Mrs. Colvin was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Surviving in addition to her husband of 65 years is a son, Harold B. Colvin, II and his wife Susan H. of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Joseph A. Colvin, Matthew A. Colvin, Derek A. Colvin and his wife Toni, and Jennifer N. Rankin and her husband Derrick; five great-grandchildren, Anna C. Colvin, Madison C. Colvin, Naomi R. Colvin, Mackenzie M. Colvin, and Zachary A. Colvin; a sister-in-law, Louise T. Grogg of Craigsville; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends anytime at the residence.A Celebration of Life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Todd Crowder.Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.Active pallbearers will be Matthew A. Colvin, Derek A.
