Julius Smith Jr. was born on September 28, 1959, to parents Julius Smith Sr. and Martha Gibbons. He grew up in an undefined area where he developed a strong work ethic and deep love for his family. Julius married his beloved wife, Kimberly Smith, in 1980 and together they raised nine beautiful children.

Julius was a dedicated father to Julius III, Micheal, Shanterrya (married to Donald Webb), Tasha (married to Terry Gibbons), Isaiah, Tora (married to Antonio Davis), Norman (married to Linda Smith), Jasmine (married to Freddy William), and Jelessa (married to Hector Santiago). He was also a cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren.

After graduating from Asbury Park High School in 1977, Julius pursued a career as a New Jersey State Trooper. He excelled in his role, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and community members.

On july 29, 2024, Julius passed away due to natural causes, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all who knew him.
