We are gathered here today to mourn the loss of Julius Franklin Jr, who departed this world on June 19, 2025, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on January 17, 1969, in the bustling city of San Antonio, Texas, Julius brought laughter and love to all who knew him.

Julius, or Antoine as he was affectionately known, was the beloved son of Julius Franklin Sr and Betty Anderson. He found the love of his life, Tonya Thomas, they had seven children - Kendra, Catherine, Crystal, Carl, Antoine, Sydney, and Anthony. His pride and joy were his eight grandchildren, whose names are Daeveon, Traeveon, Lathen, Hakeem, Kareem, Paisley, Hazik, Hariza & his great granddaughter Na’Ziyah.

Julius went to Roosevelt High School, where he was known for his quick wit and infectious humor. He could always be found cracking jokes or playing practical pranks on his classmates, leaving a trail of laughter wherever he went.

As we say goodbye to Julius, we remember him not with tears, but with smiles and laughter. His larger-than-life personality and love for his family will forever be etched in our hearts. Rest in peace, Julius, may your jokes continue to bring joy wherever you are.
