  • A life well lived

    We are sad to announce the passing of Juliann Jackson, Gilley, Board, who left this world on February 8, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born on October 14, 1950, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to her loving parents Jack Jackson Sr and Corine (Nevius) Jackson.

    Juliann was a dedicated worker at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, where she spent many years of her life before retiring in 2010. She was well-loved by her colleagues and always had a smile on her face.

    Juliann leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, as well as two of her children Jack Gilley with spouse Dannielle from Pretty Prairie Kansas and Deanna Gilley from Hutchinson Kansas. She also had five beautiful grandchildren who brought her endless joy. Chasity Gilley, Uriah Gilley, Raidyn Tyler, Rauley Gilley Lopez, and Brennan Miles. And two great grandchildren Teyanah Gilley and Ezra Gilley. And her brother Jack Jackson Jr with spouse Elaine. Juliann is preceded in death with her parents, her sister Margie Jackson and her two sons Richard Gilley (Red) and Dean Gilley (Dino).

    Juliann's spirit will live on in the memories of all who knew her. She was known for her kindness, her quick wit, and her love of a good joke. Rest in peace, Juliann, and may your laughter echo in the heavens. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22nd, at Salt City Cowboy Church with Montie McFerrin presiding.
