Julian A. Crayton (31) was born on July 18th 1991 in Jackson, Mississippi and passed away in Mobile, Alabama on May 20, 2023 from Pneumonia due to Covid 19 complications. Crayton grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School. An entertainer with an infectious laugh, Crayton brought humor and cheer to all those who knew him. The friendships he made throughout his life were everlasting and treasured.


Crayton will be remembered as a devoted father and loving husband to his daughter , Amelia (4) and several nieces and nephews that were like his own children along with his wife Angelica.  Crayton loved teaching them nature and survival skills, the art of cooking, music, fishing, watching sports, throwing and hitting baseballs, golf balls and more. He spent time with them searching for painted rocks, fun in games, cards and puzzles, winning and losing, and most importantly, teamwork. Crayton loved his wife Angelica, they had celebrated 5 years of marriage on Valentine’s Day and will forever be remembered as young high school love. 


Crayton was preceded in death by his father, Jefferson Richard Crayton; grandparents, John and Martha Crayton. He is survived by his daughter Amelia Crayton; wife, Angelica Crayton; mother, Carol Stockman; brothers, Samuel Hunter Vanstrom and Alexie Crayton also leaves behind a host of loving family members including his nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.


A memorial service celebrating Crayton’s life will be held on Monday, May 29th, at 5o’clock in the evening at South Coast Church Officiating pastors will be Rev. Joseph Elliott and Rev. Ryan Brashier.

Crayton will cremated and return home to Indiana with his wife and daughter, until they are able to spread his ashes at Bryant-Denny Stadium Roll Tide, per his wish.
