Julia Goliday, a beloved member of the Indianola community, peacefully passed away on November 21, 2024. Born on December 1, 1929, Julia lived a full and vibrant life for 95 years. Julia worked as an educator for 41 years and was a faithful member of She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith. Julia had a passion for gardening and could often be found tending to her flowers with a smile on her face. She will be remembered for her generosity, wisdom, and compassion. Julia's legacy of love and grace will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves to mourn 3 daughters, Velmatine Brown of Memphis, Elaine Marie Thompson and Linda Joyce Roberts both in Chicago, IL, 2 sons, Michael Goliday Jr. and Cedric Goliday both in Memphis. She also leave 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Her loving husband, Michael Goliday Sr. and her son Jarius Goliday Sr., both preceded her in death.
