Judy Hamilton passed away at her home in Imperial, Missouri on June 25, 2024 at the age of 86. She was born on April 13, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Judy was a wonderful loving mother to her six children: Edward Ellis, John Reed, Earl Reed, Cheryl Poe, Crystal Norrell, and Heather Hamilton. She was also a loving step-mother to thirteen children.

Judy was a proud, caring Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Elsie Meyer; four brothers, Richard Meyer, Roger Meyer, Robert Meyer, James Meyer, two sisters; Bettie Jean Cox and I.B Singer, daughter; Cheryl Poe, stepson; Christopher Hamilton, husbands; Harry Thomure and Wilbur Lee Hamilton.

Judy will be remembered for her quick wit, infectious laughter, and love for life. She had a knack for making everyone around her smile and brought joy to all who knew her. During her younger years, Judy enjoyed riding motorcycles, sewing, knitting, crocheting, woodworking and making quilts. She worked many jobs including a school bus driver, factory worker and a cook for a daycare.

Her family and friends will miss her dearly, but take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her loved ones in heaven.

Per Judy's wishes, an informal burial will be held at the Coleman City Cemetery in Coleman, Texas on August 10th at 1pm. Anyone is welcome to attend, bring flowers and say a few words.
