Judith "Judy" Ann Mikulski, of National City, formerly of Wyandotte, passed away at her home under the loving care of her family on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, age 65 years. She was born on Sept. 22, 1950 in Detroit to Steve and Mary Koller. Judy graduated from Lincoln Park High School in the Class of 1968, and went on to study at Eastern Michigan University. She retired from Wayne County after a number of years where she had worked as a computer instructor. Those who knew and loved Judy will always remember how much she enjoyed crafting with her hands. She spent many countless hours quilting, crocheting, cross stitching and knitting. Judy always looked forward to the vacations and destinations that she and her husband, Rick, would take in their motorhome and experiencing many of the beautiful parks and lighthouses throughout Michigan.Most of all, she absolutely adored and cherished her four grandchildren and following with the busy activities and sports that they were involved in. She will truly be missed by all who loved her. Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Richard "Rick" Mikulski, to whom she married at Christ the Good Sheppard Church in Lincoln Park on Sept. 26, 1970. She is also survived by her two sons, Brent (Stephanie) Mikulski of Canton and Phil Mikulski of Hale; four grandchildren, Emily, Madison, Andrew and Kyle; three sisters, Mary (Richard) Karbowski of Dearborn, Stephanie (Bob) Torck of Lincoln Park and Peggy Cribb of Eustis, Fla.; one brother, Steve (Melissa) Koller of Ocala, Fla; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Georgia and Dale Provoast of National City; and six nieces and nephews, Kathy, Patty, April, Sierra, Chris and Olivia. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Mary Koller. Her family will welcome friends for visitation on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 4 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Her family will welcome friends for visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. She will be laid to rest in Whittemore Saints Cemetery in Whittemore.
