It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Jesus (Chuy) Alfonso Jimenez, who passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, in Sacramento, CA, at the age of 66. Born on January 12, 1959, in Los Angeles, CA, Chuy grew up in La Puente, CA, and graduated from Nogales High School in 1977. He proudly served in the Army, showing the strength, honor, and dedication that he carried with him throughout his life.
Chuy’s love for his family was immeasurable. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 45 years, Lupe, and a loving father to their children, Dennis, Maria, Raymond and Dimitri. He found joy in every moment spent with his grandchildren—Amor, Angel, Alianna, Gabriel, Samiah, Aniyah, Lorenzo, Angelica, and Alaya—and cherished the bond he shared with his great-grandson, Jaxon. His constant companion, Paco, his beloved dog, was always by his side, as loyal as the love he gave to all. Chuy’s spirit was one of warmth, laughter, and unconditional love, and he made everyone around him feel valued and cherished.
As a family, we will forever miss his presence, his laughter, and his strength. He had a special way of making us feel safe and loved, no matter what. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that his love and memory will live on in all of us. Chuy’s passion for life, his love for salsa Cumbria music, and his unshakable devotion to his family will continue to inspire us. He will always be with us in our hearts, guiding us through the days ahead. Rest in peace, Chuy. You are deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
