STONER Funeral services for Joy S. Stoner, 72, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Greenlawn Cemetery at the crypt side. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday October 28 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. A longtime Jacksonville resident, Joy was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and formerly attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She worked for Publix as a supervisor and enjoyed spending time with her family & friends. Joy was born on May 11, 1944 in Springfield, Massachusetts to William C. & Margaret D. Salkins. She passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the home of her son in Orange Park. Survivors include her children Ronald D. Ronnie Stoner, Donald D. Donnie Stoner & Suzanne M. Stoner-Olsen; grandchildren Donald A. Stoner, Mikayla Stoner, Jade Olsen, Erron Roberts & McKenzie Stoner and many other extended family members and friends.
