Joy Macdonald, of Waterbury, Connecticut, passed away on August 11, 2024. She was born on December 16, 1959.

Joy was a devoted mother to her four children, Meghan Winterhalder, Kelly Winterhalder, Bryan Winterhalder, and Carly Winterhalder. She cherished her role as a grandmother to her six grandchildren.

Joy attended Trumbull High School before continuing her studies at Southern Connecticut State University. She had a passion for learning and was dedicated to her education.

Throughout her life, Joy was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
