She attended First Baptist Church of New Albany, IN.Joy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Arthur "Wayne" Lucas.She is survived by 6 children-Virginia Masiello(Rick) of Derry, New Hampshire; Steve Lucas of New Albany, IN; Lisa Livers(Jamie) of Greenville, IN; Mark Lucas of Como Colorado; Susan Lucas of Georgetown, IN; and Michael Lucas of Georgetown, IN.11 grandchildren- Jennifer Trout, Charlotte Trout-Gonzalez, Richard and Regina Masiello, Stevie Ray and Rebekah Lucas, Kimy Levell, Lucas and Kegan Livers, Michael Lucas Jr. and Chassity Robards6 great grandchildren- Anthony Gonzalez, Robbie and Raegan McKim, McKennah Devine, Breanna Lucas and Bella SmithA Celebration of Life will be held at 6PM, Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN.Visitation will begin at 1PM on Sunday and conclude at 6PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church of New Albany, IN or Floyd County .
