Josie Gabaldon, age 89, a resident of Casa Colorada, NM, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020. She was a member of San Juan Catholic Community. Josie was a housewife and made her life about her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, her home and husband. She enjoyed reading, needlework, baking, playing on her computer, and most of all Josie enjoyed her family. She was proceeded in death her mother and father; 3 brothers; and 1 sister. Josie is survived by her loving husband, Orlando Gabaldon, children, Alfred Gabaldon ad wife, Donna, Evelyn Walker and husband, Ed, Gen Benes and husband, Charlie and David Gabaldon and partner, David Walker. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Jerry Gabaldon, Jory Fox, Stoney Gabaldon, Aaron Fox, Kati Jo Gabaldon, and Kelsey Walker; and 11 great-grandchildren, Maddie Gabaldon, Brady Gabaldon, Jaydon Sims, Dan Boyd, Justice Gabaldon, Jaxon Gabaldon, Dan Boyd, Graham Gabaldon, Future (Unborn) Gabaldon, Ducky Fox, and Lane Fox. Services will be held at San Juan Catholic Church in Veguita on Tuesday September 30, 2020. A Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11: 00 a.m. Interment will follow at Veguita Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jerry Gabaldon, Jory Fox, Stoney Gabaldon, and Aaron Fox.
