Josephine KirstMANSFIELD: Josephine Kirst, 87, of Mansfield passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at OhioHealth Mansfield. Josephine was born on July 13, 1929 in Apfeldorf, Yugoslavia to the late Weazel and Magdalena (Yuhas) Fuchs. Josephine came to America in 1955. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church and the Mansfield Liederkranz. She was very outgoing and her family was the delight of her life. Josephine enjoyed cooking, baking and housekeeping.Josephine is survived by her children, Manfred (Vickie) Kirst and Karl Kirst Jr.; three granddaughters, Talisa (Brian) Swindle, Margaret Ann (Bob) Dujmovic, and Gretchen (Juan Galvan) Kirst; eleven great-grandchildren, Caleb, Addison, Grace and Noah Dujmovic, Gabriell and Jessica Babcock, Bianca and Jovanni Galvan, McKenzie and Tyler Hawks and Zakary Swindle; a brother, Leo (Donna) Fuchs; numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Karl Kirst.The family will observe private services.
