Joseph was born on September 30, 1960, in Oxnard, where he was a life long resident. Joe was a dedicated assembly worker for the A.R.C. Workshop for 25 years and was a parishioner of the St. Anthony's Catholic Church here in Oxnard. Joseph loved such things as the special Olympics, WWF/WWE Wrestling, music, dancing, eating, watching T.V., and giving hugs. Joe is survived by his brother, Richard Perez of Oxnard, Sisters, Patricia Frenes of Port Hueneme and Gina Smith of Ojai, along with various nephews, nieces and a host of other loving relatives. Joe is preceded in death by father Augustine Perez, mother Nellie Perez and sister Monica Meyer of OxnardA funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Oxnard, on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 10 a.m. with the burial to immediately follow at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery.Joe has been entrusted to the care of the family owned and operated Reardon Funeral Home, 511 North A st.
