JOSEPH M. FRISCO JR. Joseph M. Frisco Jr., 51 passed away on November 24, 2016, at Levine Dickson Hospice House in Charlotte, NC. Joe was born on May 27, 1965, in Norristown, PA to Joseph M. Frisco Sr. and Ruthann Frisco (Spangler). Joe graduated from Drexel University in 1988 with a BA in Mechanical Engineering. A few short weeks later Joe married Ann P. Fineran of Conshohocken, PA. On that day Joe not only became a husband but also a father to Peter Frentzen. Within weeks Joe was off to Officer Candidate School for the US Navy. He served 5 years in the submarine force aboard the USS Woodrow Wilson. Joe earned the rank of Lieutenant, as well as 4 Naval Achievement Medals, Officer Submarine Warfare Breast Insignia, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and a National Defense Service Medal. Upon leaving the Navy Joe took a job at Energy Northwest in Richland, WA. In the following years he realized his dream of becoming a Plant Manager at the Brunswick Nuclear Power Plant and then a VP of Design Engineering at Duke Energy in Charlotte. Most importantly, Joe treasured time with his family. Joe and Ann shared a love for music and traveling. Joe was a supportive father and thoroughly enjoyed being Papa Joe to his granddaughters. A constant theme in Joe's life has always been music. He enjoyed playing guitar alone, for family, or at gatherings with friends. Joe was able to spend his last few months at home, with the loving care of his wife Ann. Joe is survived by his wife Ann Frisco (Fineran) of Charlotte, NC; his son Pete Frentzen and wife Kim of Kennewick, WA; grandchildren Mckenna and Payton; mother Ruthann Frisco and sister Lisa (Daniel) Gurneck of Gulf Port, MS; uncles Dick (Joan) Spangler, Bill (Ginger) Spangler and Dave (Darlene) Spangler; Aunt Linda (Rick) Erickson. Joe was preceded in death by his father Joseph M. Frisco Sr. A celebration of life will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 3700 Forest Lawn Dr. Matthews, NC 28104 at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2016.
