Joseph Rivera of Trenton, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on April 2, 1941, Joseph lived a full and vibrant life marked by love, laughter, and dedication to the people and passions that meant the most to him. He had a deep love for sports and could often be found spending his weekends cheering on his favorite teams with excitement and pride.

In his quieter moments, Joseph found joy in tending to his garden. He took great care in nurturing his plants and flowers, creating a space of beauty and peace that reflected his gentle and patient spirit.

Joseph truly cherished time with his family. He loved being surrounded by his children and grandchildren, and he took great pride in spoiling his grandkids every chance he got, filling their lives with love, laughter, and special memories they will always hold close.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria; his children, William and Lisa; his grandchildren, Shelby and Lucas; and his great-grandchildren, Ayana, Christien, Liliana, Josiah, and Mariah. His family will continue to carry forward his legacy of kindness, humor, and love for life.
