We are saddened to announce the passing of Joseph Barengaya, who passed away on August 5, 2024 in Yaounde, Centre, Cameroon. He was born on January 1, 1930 to Joseph Barengaya Sr and Madeleine Barengaya.

Joseph was a loving father to his two children, Devota Nyiraneza (spouse Francois Twagirayezu) and Valentine Dushimirimana. He was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren.

Joseph had a love for fishing and listening to music. He could often be found enjoying these hobbies in his free time.

Joseph lived a full and happy life, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
