Jose Alberto “Beto El Cono” Galvan, 83, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Rush Copley Medical Center. Jose was born on June 6, 1939 in Mexico, the son of Eufemio and Rita (Medina) Galvan. On December 30, 1961 he married his beloved, Oralia Lopez in Mexico. A devoted husband and loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather Jose enjoyed baseball, horses, music, and dancing. He was a courageous and inspiring warrior in his fight against Alzheimer’s. He was admired and cherished and will be missed by his family and friends.Jose is survived by his four children, Olivia (Roman) Burciaga, Raquel (Ramon) Morales, Victor (Rosa) Galvan, and Ricardo Galvan; special granddaughter, Olynda (Ruben) DeHoyos; twenty one grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren; daughters in law, Concepcion and Paula Galvan.Preceding him in death is his wife of 34 years, Oralia; sons, Jorge and Alberto Galvan; and sister, Francisca Ochoa. Funeral Mass will begin Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church for Mass at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois. 630-631-5500. Please visit our website at www.daleidenmortuary.comwhere you may leave condolences for Jose’s family.
