Jorge Garcia, born on August 27, 1965, in Aurora, Illinois, United States, passed away on July 12, 2025. He was the beloved son of Jose and Guadalupe Garcia and loving husband of Maria Garcia, with whom he was married in 1988. Jorge was a devoted father to his three children, Carmen, Luis, and Stephanie.

Jorge had a passion for working on cars and spent countless hours tinkering in his garage. He was known for his skill and meticulous attention to detail, turning even the most rundown vehicles into works of art. His dedication to his hobby brought him joy and relaxation, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family in need.

Jorge's life was tragically cut short by cancer, a battle he fought with strength and courage until the end. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Services are being held on Friday, July 18th, 2025 at Meredith Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Carbondale IL. Followed by mass on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Located at 2000B W Main Street Carbondale, IL 62901.
