Jonathan (Jon) Johansson, 16, of Breezand, North Holland, passed on August 28, 2022. Jonathan was born on November 23, 2005.

He always seemed happy, full of life and energetic, he could make anyone laugh with his jokes and character. His journal entries however, tell a diffrent story. From the inside he was suffering from severe suicidal tendencies and dark thoughts, keeping the facade of happiness on the outside going for years. We knew Jon suffered from schizophrenia and near the end of his life he recieved medication for this disease. We however never knew it was this bad. Throughout his life he enjoyed nature and going outside, he also liked weapons and spending time with his friends and family.

Jon's suicide was a devastating blow to us all, he had big dreams which he really wanted to accomplish, one of his biggest dreams was living in the Unites States, specifically Idaho or Alaska. As requested by him in his journal the family will travel to Alaska to spread his ashes in the Alaskan wilderness.

His legacy of always helping those in need will be continued by his family members, specifically his father Johan, mother Irene, cousins Jørgen, Sven, Hidde, Klaus, Lucas and Bjørn, younger brother Thijs, uncle Roland, uncle Frank and his grandmother Mary.
