We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Johnny Melendez, who was born on August 6, 1954, in Waco, Texas, United States. He was the son of Nemencio Melendez and Georgia Martinez Melendez. On February 12, 2025, Johnny peacefully left this world to be reunited with his loved ones in the afterlife.

Johnny was a devoted husband to Cynthia Melendez, whom he married in 1988. Together, they raised four wonderful children: Micheal Melendez (spouse Ruby Melendez), Daniel Melendez, Joe Melendez, and Joshua John Melendez (spouse Mayra Melendez). He was also a loving grandfather to six cherished grandchildren.

Throughout his life, Johnny worked as a painter before retiring in 2019. He had a passion for music and was a true music lover. His warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Johnny's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
