It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Johnathan Nixon, who left us far too soon on September 11, 2024. Born on April 20, 1983 in Mount Holly, North Carolina, Johnathan was the beloved son of Jeff and Nancy.

In 2006, Johnathan married the love of his life, Brittanee, and together they raised their son Luke. Luke studied in East Gaston High School and graduated in 2000, before continuing his studies at Gaston College and graduating in 2004.

Johnathan had a passion for fishing and hunting, spending many happy hours pursuing his hobbies in the great outdoors. Unfortunately, it was during one of these adventures that a tragic accident occurred, and a tractor rolled over on top of him.

While Johnathan may no longer be with us, the memories of his laughter and love will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Rest in peace, Johnathan.
