GIBSON — John Stoney Williams, 49, passed away on Oct. 23, 2013.

He was born on Nov. 14, 1963 in Baltimore, Md., son to the late Henry Frank Williams and Lucille Lockey Williams. He was a self employed truck driver who loved traveling and seeing the country. He enjoyed cooking and was a jack of all trades and a talented craftsman. John was a loving husband and father who will truly be missed.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Hank Williams.

He is survived by his wife Petra Williams of their home in Gibson, daughters Tonya Williams and Patricia Williams both of Rock Hill, S.C., brothers Richard Williams of Gibson and Junior Williams and Hoyt Williams of Baltimore, and his sister Dolly Lambert of Rock Hill.

The family is planning a service for a later date.
