John M. RodgersStafford, VAJohn M. Rodgers, 59, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Va. He was the husband of Linda L. (Weigle) Rodgers to whom he was married for 11 years. John was born on March 22, 1957 in Annandale, Va. to Byron & Jean (Neucom) Rodgers of Fort Myers, Fla. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech University and was the General Manager of Trugreen in Richmond, Virginia. John enjoyed boating, fishing, cooking and was a member of the NRA. In addition to his wife and parents, John is survived by three step-children, Andrew Weigle, Brett Hayes and Shane Hayes; two step-grandchildren, Darion Weigle and Aryanna Hayes; a brother, David Rodgers; and a sister, Kimberly Rodgers. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York Street, Gettysburg, Pa. with Rev. Andrew Geib, officiating. Interment will be in Heidlersburg Cemetery, Gettysburg.
